The Braddock Bulldogs crushed the visiting Mourning Sharks baseball team by a count of 11-3 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southwest for a 8A District 15 bout on Tuesday, March 27. Braddock will face a Eagles team coming off a 5-4 league win over Sunset (Miami, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-6.
Next, the Sharks face the Homestead Broncos (Homestead, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 30. Mourning will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record.

Braddock offense too much for Alonso High School in 11-3 rout
Braddock blew out Alonso High School 11-3 on Tuesday at Braddock after pouring on six runs in the first inning.
Anthony Alvarez had a good game at the plate for Braddock. Alvarez went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. Alvarez singled in the first and fourth innings.
Elias Trehns rose to the occasion out of the bullpen, hurling three innings of shutout ball while racking up two strikeouts and giving up no hits and no walks.
Tom Ordiales, Victor Marin, Alvarez, David Jervis, Gaby Mundo, and Ivan Nunez each got hits for Braddock. Nunez led the team with two hits.
Braddock increased its lead with three runs in the second. Nunez's single got things going, plating Mundo. That was followed up by that scored Brian Hernandez.
