Chris Colon has been named player of the year. "Chris, originally from Puerto Rico, came to Spanish River in October of 2017 after the island endured Hurricane Maria. An unfortunate event brought Chris to Boca but he ends his high school career as a Shark as the 2019 MVP and Player of the year. With 177 kills on the season and 113 digs, Chris led the Sharks and played in every set of every match. We are proud of you Chris and look forward to seeing you conquer life after you graduate from FAU. Best wishes. "
