Meet Francisco Ian Flores Rodríguez

Francisco Ian Flores Rodríguez is a senior at PK Yonge and this is his first year playing in the varsity boys soccer team. Although he has played soccer since sixth grade, Ian didn’t really get too much into it until this year when he joined the team. As great as it has been to win for Ian, with "such an awesome team as ours", the best memories he has are the boys just having fun and hanging out as a team. One asset we have with Ian is that he understands his role and he embraces it with joy and passion. He explains that it is not about all of the players trying to compete with each other, but all of the players working with each other as a team and lifting each other up. Ian loves the fact that every player tries to be the best version of himself by not only working harder but getting in the right mindset. Ian believes that the culture of this team has made him a much better and focused player. The coaches agree with him.
