Venice Indians (Venice, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Yulee Hornets (Yulee, FL), 13-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Creekside for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. Venice will face a Knights squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Ponte Vedra (Ponte Vedra, FL). The Knights record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Yulee falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Liberty County (Bristol, FL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Liberty County won 7-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Sneads (Sneads, FL)
