Janelle Mayo has been named player of the year. "During her senior season, Janelle led the team as a captain and scored two goals on the season from penalty kicks. She had 4 shots on goal, 74 steals, and played 871 minutes. Janelle rarely missed practice, if any, and always had a great attitude. Janelle gave her best for her teammates, coaches, and school. Janelle was a large part of our defensive foundation and was willing to play any position that the coaches needed her to play. She always led by example, pushed herself to be better every day, and would stay late after practice to sharpen her skills. Most importantly Janelle represented Jesus Christ on the field, at practice and in the class room. All of the coaches wish Janelle the best of luck in college and life, and we will always be cheering you on wherever you end up. "
