Alfredo Vincente has been named player of the year. "When it comes down to it, it doesn't really matter how many goals your team scores - defense is what wins the game. Alfredo, for mostly the better and sometimes for worse, is the heart and soul of the Claxton Tigers boys soccer team. You either live or die with your goalie. Alfredo throughout the year has provided solid defense and led the team emotionally on and off the field. Win, or lose in the post-season - we would not be there at all if it wasn't for his work at the goal. Congratulations Alfredo - you are the man!"
