He was voted 1st Team All-County, lead the county in strike outs and wins as a pitcher, 2nd in county batting average (.527), school player of the month for March 2019 and Region 4-AAAAAA Player of The Year all while maintaining a 3.8 GPA! Lamont has truly been an asset to the MLK baseball program, a supportive teammate and the epitome of a student-athlete both on the field and in the classroom."
