Trentin Drayton

Trentin Drayton has been named player of the year. "Trentin Drayton finished his senior season as the leading shot blocker in the state with 137, 6.2 blocked shots per game. He was the number two rebounder in the state with 322 rebounds, 14.6 rpg. That is number one and number two counting all classifications, all 330 high schools in the state of Georgia. In addition to that Trentin scored 244 points, 11.1 ppg, making 112 of 202 field goals for an average of 55%. His work ethic in practice and willingness to accept coaching were a positive example to his team mates, and set a standard they could all measure their own efforts against. He had three triple doubles, and sixteen double doubles (double figures in scoring, rebounding and blocks) on the season, and he showed his commitment to the team by coming back after being injured to play in his last high school game in the region tournament.
