Emma Duke has been named player of the year. "Emma lead the Lady Lions in scoring and was second in rebounds and steals. She was the teams best offensive weapon with her ability to penetrate through traffic and shoot the outside jumper. She played with a tenacity and heart that can't be coached but that every coach dreams of their players having. Because of her self-drive, relentless hard work, dedication, leadership by example, and loyalty to her team she made for a wonderful captain for our team. Emma Duke is well deserving of the Unity Lady Lion's Player of the Year."
