Ashley Black has been named player of the year. "Ms. Black was the heart and soul of the Lady Crusaders this season. She was the second leading scorer on the team (10ppg)and dominating force on the defense end. Ashley was also the unquestioned leader on the court, making sure her teammates were in the right position on offense and defense. She was a major contributor to a Lady Crusader's team that finished undefeated in region play and earned a berth to the ICSGA A Girls Final Four. Only a junior, Ms. Black looks to get even better in the offseason"
