The Walnut Grove Warriors held off the host Jackson County Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Warriors now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Oconee for a non-league test on Thursday, August 23. Walnut Grove will confront a Titans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Lakeview Academy (Gainesville, GA). The Titans record now stands at 1-4.

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Longhorns enter the non-league test with a 6-3 record.
