The Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ), 75-45 in Friday's non-league test.

The Colts (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Canyon del Oro (Tucson, AZ). The Dorados go into the non-league test with a 0-10 record. In their last test, Canyon del Oro was trounced by Westwood (Mesa, AZ), 72-37, in a non-league test.

The Longhorns now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Coconino for a non-league test on Saturday, January 2. Payson will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 47-33 non-league loss to Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-7.
