The Hayesville Yellowjackets basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Rosman Tigers to 50 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Swain County for a Smoky Mountain - Big 1A contest on Friday, January 5. Hayesville will battle a Maroon Devils team coming off a 65-51 league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Maroon Devils record now stands at 5-6.
The Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Murphy (Murphy, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Smoky Mountain - Big 1A contest with a 7-2 record.
