The Falls City Beavers (Falls City, TX) basketball felled the visiting Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX), 48-40 in Tuesday's league test.

The Beavers (5-8) will now prepare for their test against La Pryor (La Pryor, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region IV District 30 test with a 0-11 record. In their last test, La Pryor was beaten by Brackett (Brackettville, TX), 57-31, in a league test.
