In Friday's league outing, the Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Falls City Beavers (Falls City, TX), by a margin of 62-37.

The Yellowjackets (13-11) will now prepare for their outing against Charlotte (Charlotte, TX). The Trojans go into the 2A Region IV District 30 outing with a 5-23 record. In their last outing, Charlotte was trounced by Lee Academy of Science & Engineering (San Antonio, TX), 75-35, in a league outing.

The Beavers now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host La Pryor for a 2A Region IV District 30 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Falls City will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 44-29 league loss to Brackett (Brackettville, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-18.
