January 2, 2024: Gladstone, MI 49837 Iron Mountain Mountaineers (Iron Mountain, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI), 54-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Iron Mountain upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Westwood (Ishpeming, MI) to play the Patriots in a Western Peninsula bout on Friday, January 5. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Westwood won 62-42 in their recent league bout against Gwinn (Gwinn, MI)
Next up, the Braves play the Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Gladstone will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Modeltowners come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 62-42 league loss to Westwood (Ishpeming, MI).
