January 2, 2024: Hackensack, NJ 07601 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) and the host Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ), saw Northern Highlands's basketball squad hold off Hackensack by a tally of 68-61.
With the victory, Northern Highlands improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ) to play the Raiders in a Big North - National challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Ramapo lost 50-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ)
Next up, the Comets play the Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) in a Big North - National challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Hackensack will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 8-1 record after their 75-51 non-league win over Paramus (Paramus, NJ).
