Maine High School Basketball - Yarmouth overwhelms Lake Region
January 2, 2024: Yarmouth, ME 04096 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Yarmouth Clippers (Yarmouth, ME) and the visiting Lake Region Lakers (Naples, ME), saw Yarmouth's basketball squad wallop Lake Region by a tally of 70-37.
With the victory, Yarmouth improves its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Wells (Wells, ME) to confront the Warriors in a B South challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Wells lost 61-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME)
Next up, the Lakers confront the York Wildcats (York, ME) in a B South challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Lake Region will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 55-32 league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME).
