January 2, 2024: London, KY 40744 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) and the visiting Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY), saw South Laurel's basketball squad wallop Jackson County by a tally of 83-55.
With the victory, South Laurel improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Harlan County (Harlan, KY) to confront the Black Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Black Bears come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Harlan County won 70-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Hazard (Hazard, KY)
Next up, the Generals confront the Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Jackson County will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 54-38 non-league win over Clay County (Manchester, KY).
