Vermont High School Basketball - Lamoille tops U-32
January 2, 2024: Hyde Park, VT 05655 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT) and the visiting U-32 Raiders (Montpelier, VT), saw Lamoille's basketball squad knock off U-32 by a count of 43-24.
With the victory, Lamoille upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Lake Region (Orleans, VT) to play the Rangers in a Capital challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Lake Region lost 54-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Windsor (Windsor, VT)
Next up, the Raiders play the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. U-32 will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 45-20 league win over Spaulding (Barre, VT).
