Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lamoille Lancers (Hyde Park, VT), 50-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Harwood upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Highlanders travel to North Country Union (Newport, VT) to clash with the Falcons in a Metro bout on Thursday, February 15. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 16-1. North Country Union won 68-27 in their recent non-league bout against Oxbow (Bradford, VT)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Montpelier Solons (Montpelier, VT) in a Capital bout, on Thursday, February 15. Lamoille will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Solons go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 44-26 league win over Randolph (Randolph, VT).
