In Tuesday's non-league outing, the North Country Union Falcons (Newport, VT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Oxbow Olympians (Bradford, VT), by a margin of 68-27.

The Falcons (16-1) will now prepare for their outing against Harwood (Moretown, VT). The Highlanders go into the Capital outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Harwood smashed Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT), 50-28, in a league outing.

The Olympians now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Spaulding for a Metro outing on Thursday, February 15. Oxbow will clash with a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 7-10.
