California High School Basketball - Placer overwhelms Union Mine
January 2, 2024: El Dorado, CA 95623 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) and the host Union Mine Diamondbacks (El Dorado, CA), saw Placer's basketball squad wallop Union Mine by a tally of 48-18.
With the victory, Placer improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Hillmen travel to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA) to play the Bruins in a challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Ponderosa won 57-26 in their recent non-league challenge against El Dorado (Placerville, CA)
Next up, the Diamondbacks play the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Union Mine will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
