The Carver Vo-Tech Bears basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Southwestern Sabers to 11 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Forest Park for a Baltimore City game on Tuesday, January 7. Carver Vo-Tech will confront a Foresters team coming off a 68-35 league win over Coppin Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Foresters record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Southwestern falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Sabers host Bard (Washington, DC) to confront the Falcons in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 6-5. Bard won 64-19 in their recent league game against Bell (Washington, DC)
