West Virginia High School Basketball - Summit Christian Academy knocks off Summers County
January 2, 2025: Princeton, WV 24740 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Summit Christian Academy Falcons (Princeton, WV) and the visiting Summers County Bobcats (Hinton, WV), observed Summit Christian Academy's basketball team overcome Summers County by a margin of 72-52.
The Falcons (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tazewell (Tazewell, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Tazewell defeated Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA), 75-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV) in a Coalfield AAA challenge, on Friday, January 3. Summers County will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 52-36 non-league loss to Hampshire (Romney, WV).
