With the victory, James River advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to meet the Cavaliers in a Three Rivers battle on Friday, January 3. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a record of 0-8. Carroll County lost 55-26 in their recent non-league battle against Grayson County (Independence, VA)
The Knights now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a River Ridge battle on Friday, January 3. Cave Spring will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-4.
