The Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans to 43 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Raleigh Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Charlotte Country Day School will meet a Knights team coming off a 63-56 non-league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Knights record now stands at 6-9.
The Trojans (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Shining Light Academy (Greensboro, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Shining Light Academy was defeated by New Garden Friends (Greensboro, NC), 72-56, in a non-league contest.
