In Tuesday's league outing, the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) basketball squad nipped the visiting Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC), by a margin of 57-51.

The Wildcats (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Freedom got by Enka (Enka, NC), 79-75, in a non-league outing.
