In Tuesday's league outing, the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) basketball squad beat the host Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC), by a margin of 81-63.

The Wildcats (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies go into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Ashe County was beaten by Avery County (Newland, NC), 71-56, in a non-league outing.
