The Patton Panthers topped the host Draughn Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 57-47 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) in a 2A Conference 41 game, on Friday, January 27. Patton will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 6-14 record after their 85-57 non-league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC).

With the defeat, Draughn moves to 8-10 on the year. The Wildcats host Mitchell (Bakersville, NC) to face the Mountaineers in a 1A/2A Conference 42 game on Tuesday, January 24.
