North Carolina High School Basketball - Patton succumbs to Chase

January 13, 2023: Morganton, NC 28655

The Chase Trojans topped the host Patton Panthers basketball team by a final score of 44-36 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a 2A Conference 41 game, on Tuesday, January 17. Chase will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a 10-6 record after their 71-43 league win over East Rutherford (Forest City, NC).

With the defeat, Patton moves to 6-9 on the year. The Panthers host Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC) to face the Bearcats in a 2A Conference 41 game on Tuesday, January 17.
