North Carolina High School Basketball - Chase crushes East Rutherford

January 24, 2023: Forest City, NC 28018

Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC), 69-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Chase upgrades its record to 6-12 on the season. The Trojans travel to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC) to play the Bearcats in a 2A Conference 41 bout on Friday, January 27. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 16-3. Hendersonville won 77-47 in their recent league bout against Polk County (Columbus, NC)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. East Rutherford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 77-40 league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC).
