The Souhegan Sabers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Hanover Bears to 41 in the Sabers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Sabers now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laconia for a Division II contest on Friday, January 6. Souhegan will battle a Sachems team coming off a 68-49 league win over Kennett (Conway, NH). The Sachems record now stands at 3-0.

The Bears (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH). The Bears enter the Division II contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Coe-Brown Academy ran past Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH), 61-52, in a league contest.
