New Hampshire High School Basketball - ConVal nips Souhegan
February 15, 2023: Peterborough, NH 03458 ConVal Cougars (Peterborough, NH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH), 72-68 in a league bout.
With the victory, ConVal upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Laconia (Laconia, NH) to play the Sachems in a Division II bout on Friday, February 17. The Sachems come into the bout with a record of 14-1.
Next up, the Sabers play the Merrimack Valley The Pride (Penacook, NH) in a Division II bout, on Friday, February 17. Souhegan will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The The Pride come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 63-32 league win over Stark (Weare, NH).
