New Hampshire High School Basketball - Laconia thwarts ConVal
February 17, 2023: Laconia, NH 03246 The Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH) basketball knocked off the visiting ConVal Cougars (Peterborough, NH), 84-67 in Friday's league test.
The Sachems (15-1) will now prepare for their test against Oyster River (Durham, NH). The Bobcats go into the Division II test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Oyster River went down by Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH), 65-34, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hanover for a Division II test on Tuesday, February 21. ConVal will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 55-49 league win over Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH). The Bears record now stands at 4-11.
