January 3, 2023: Cross Plains, TX 76443 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Cross Plains Buffaloes (Cross Plains, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lometa Hornets (Lometa, TX), by a count of 67-18.
The Buffaloes (19-3) will now prepare for their outing against Moran (Moran, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Region II District 13 outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Moran was crushed by Olney (Olney, TX), 41-2, in a non-league outing.
The Hornets now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Lohn for a 1A Region III District 17 outing on Friday, January 6. Lometa will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 39-2 non-league loss to Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-4.
