December 20, 2022: Richland Springs, TX 76871 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cross Plains Buffaloes (Cross Plains, TX) and the host Richland Springs Coyotes (Richland Springs, TX), saw Cross Plains's basketball squad hold off Richland Springs by a tally of 43-41.
With the victory, Cross Plains improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Lometa (Lometa, TX) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Lometa lost 31-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Llano (Llano, TX)
Next up, the Coyotes confront the McMullen County Cowboys (Tilden, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Richland Springs will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 49-36 non-league win over Karnes City (Karnes City, TX).
