Texas High School Basketball - Gordon ripped by Cross Plains
December 13, 2022: Cross Plains, TX 76443 The Cross Plains Buffaloes basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Gordon Longhorns to 34 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Buffaloes now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miles for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Cross Plains will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 74-43 non-league loss to Eula (Clyde, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.
The Longhorns (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX). The Bobcats enter the 1A Region III District 19 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Bluff Dale triumphed over Lohn (Lohn, TX), 39-2, in a non-league contest.
