New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), 43-42 in a league bout.

With the win, New Canaan upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Rams travel to Danbury (Danbury, CT) to clash with the Hatters in a Fairfield County bout on Friday, January 6. The Hatters go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Danbury won 57-31 in their recent league bout against Wilton (Wilton, CT)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the McMahon Senators (Norwalk, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Friday, January 6. Greenwich will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Senators go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 59-19 league loss to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT).
