Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) and the host Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT), saw Greenwich's basketball squad wallop Staples by a tally of 42-17.

With the victory, Greenwich improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Norwalk (Norwalk, CT) to confront the Bears in a Fairfield County challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Norwalk lost 59-47 in their recent league challenge against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT)

Next up, the Wreckers confront the Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Staples will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Hatters come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 52-43 league win over Stamford (Stamford, CT).
