Connecticut High School Basketball - Staples overwhelms Westhill
January 24, 2023: Stamford, CT 06902 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) and the host Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT), saw Staples's basketball squad wallop Westhill by a tally of 56-32.
With the victory, Staples improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Wreckers host Harding (Bridgeport, CT) to confront the Presidents in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Presidents come into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Harding lost 56-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilton (Wilton, CT)
Next up, the Vikings confront the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Friday, January 27. Westhill will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 50-45 league win over Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT).
