Connecticut High School Basketball - Staples crushes Harding
January 26, 2023: Westport, CT 06880 Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Harding Presidents (Bridgeport, CT), 62-16 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Staples upgrades its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Wreckers travel to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT) to play the Falcons in a Fairfield County bout on Friday, January 27. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 13-0. Ludlowe won 58-29 in their recent league bout against Trumbull (Trumbull, CT)
Next up, the Presidents play the Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Harding will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 53-37 league win over Darien (Darien, CT).
