The Huntingtown Hurricanes tipped the host Bladensburg Mustangs basketball team by a final score of 69-67 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Hurricanes face the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) in a Southern Maryland test, on Friday, January 5. Huntingtown will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Braves go into the test with a 4-4 record after their 57-36 non-league win over Howard (Ellicott City, MD).
