The Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD), 64-58 in Monday's league test.

The Chargers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines go into the Southern Maryland test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Westlake was tipped by Severna Park (Severna Park, MD), 47-29, in a league test.

The Hurricanes now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Northern for a Southern Maryland test on Wednesday, December 20. Huntingtown will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 76-36 league win over Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
