Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon routs Lackey

February 2, 2024: Indian Head, MD 20640

In Friday's league outing, the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), by a margin of 75-48.

The Braves (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles go into the Southern Maryland outing with a 7-9 record. In their last outing, North Point smashed Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD), 54-53, in a league outing.

The Chargers now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Leonardtown for a Southern Maryland outing on Wednesday, February 7. Lackey will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 54-53 league loss to North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 10-6.
