The Chopticon Braves basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Central Falcons to 60 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Howard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Chopticon will meet a Lions team coming off a 67-34 non-league win over Westminster (Westminster, MD). The Lions record now stands at 4-3.

The Falcons (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Yellowjackets enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Gwynn Park ran past St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 54-50, in a non-league contest.
