The Brighton Bengals basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Skyline Eagles to 51 in the Bengals league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bengals now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a 5A Region 6 contest on Friday, January 5. Brighton will battle a Rams team coming off a 69-68 league win over Olympus (Salt Lake City, UT). The Rams record now stands at 9-3.

The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Alta (Sandy, UT). The Hawks enter the 5A Region 6 contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Alta ran past East (Salt Lake City, UT), 81-51, in a league contest.
