In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Tuscarora Huskies (Leesburg, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA), by a count of 69-24.

The Huskies (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Independence (Ashburn, VA). The go into the non-league outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Independence was crushed by James Madison (Vienna, VA), 56-50, in a non-league outing.

The Captains now hold a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Lightridge for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 4. Loudoun County will clash with a Bolts squad coming off a 68-38 non-league loss to Loudoun Valley (Purcellville, VA). The Bolts record now stands at 3-8.
