North Carolina High School Basketball - West Stokes overwhelms North Forsyth
January 3, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27105 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) and the host North Forsyth Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC), saw West Stokes's basketball squad wallop North Forsyth by a tally of 63-33.
With the victory, West Stokes improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Morehead (Eden, NC) to confront the Panthers in a 2A Mid-State challenge on Friday, January 5. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Morehead won 78-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA)
Coming up next, the Vikings battle the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders (High Point, NC) in a 2A Mid-State battle, on Friday, January 5. North Forsyth will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Red Raiders come into the battle with a 2-9 record after their 60-43 non-league loss to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC).
