North Carolina High School Basketball - T.W. Andrews knocked off by West Stokes
January 10, 2024: High Point, NC 27265 The West Stokes Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the host T.W. Andrews Red Raiders to 42 in the Wildcats league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reidsville for a 2A Mid-State contest on Friday, January 12. West Stokes will battle a Rams team coming off a 86-53 non-league win over Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Rams record now stands at 10-0.
The Red Raiders (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Morehead (Eden, NC). The Panthers enter the 2A Mid-State contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Morehead ran past McMichael (Mayodan, NC), 78-47, in a league contest.
